As I’m writing this caption, I’m mentally acknowledging that this dog is probably dead. When I was there, the owner acknowledge that there had been two dogs, from the same liter. The other dog had died, just a month or so beforehand. And this dog was old and creaky, but sweet, kind and loving as well. Now, I’m avidly more of a cat fan, but I did fall a little in love with the fellow, while I was there. I hope someone else went on really slow morning walks with him, gave him treats, and told him how hard it was to keep up with him, because he was so spry.
