My table sits six, when fully open. For at least the last two years, I’ve had it set to seat four. I’ve just set it to sit two recently. Somewhat for additional kitchen space, but also because I found the extra kitchen table space was a magnet for my junk—empty Amazon.com boxes, bags that needed to be folded, junk mail, etc., etc. So I’m hoping and so far its proven true—the smaller space makes it less attractive to store things on the table and encourages me to deal with them immediately (which makes the entire kitchen more appealing).
