MTV News: Gay Marriage vs. VH1
Damn. I missed VH1’s Best Week Ever because I was watching MTV News’ Gay Marriage. I’d been waiting all week to see “Best Week Ever” so much news to skewer, and who had the ‘best week ever’? Now all these questions remain unknown. Well at least until VH1 repeats it.
Thanks God, and VH1 executives for repetitive television. Of course MTV is repetitve as well, but it seems to have way more non-music based shows, which mean they can’t repeat that often. Come to think of it, “Does MTV even show music videos anymore? I mean outside of the midnight to 6am time slot.”
But VH1, oddly which seems to show more music than MTV, also has more shows that focus on music, such as “Behind the Music” and Driven. These on top of the easy to adore shows like I Love the 80’s, I Love the 80’s Strikes Back, and my new personal favorite Best Week Ever.

The gay marriage special was cool. Good to see John Norris follow in Kurt Loder’s footsteps. I want more detail on the survey they did though.
