More Site CSS Changes

Well back in June, I managed to speed up page loads, but now they’re slowed again. They aren’t nearly as bad as before, but obviously, I’ll need to troubleshoot again.  I want under 1 second load times, with the current query configurations I’m getting between .5 to 3 seconds. I feel over 2 seconds is way to long. Especially since I’m on a DSL line. The wait must be longer with those using 56k.

Anyway, you’ll note the tweaked logo, because “orange” is the new “black”.  I like the purple with orange highlights. I’ve also updated a fair amount of the CSS to reflect purple links, light purple hoovers, then orange on visited links, changes to blockquotes, paragraph size and the like.

I’m still working, but it’s getting closer to what I want it to be.
