South of Nowhere Meets Imagine You & Me
Recently, I’ve been rummaging around YouTube. It’s a user created content sites like, MySpace.com, except I hate MySpace. It’s filled with really ugly website design. Anyway, before I head off into a MySpace rant, let’s get back to YouTube. YouTube is more like GoogleVideo, except, I find it a bit easier to navigate, and it has tons of good, bad, and insipid lesbian/lesbian-ish content on it.
I’ll admit that most people who read my site, got sucked in from my music videos. When, iMovie came out, I started making, mostly lesbian slash videos for some of my favorite television shows (or characters on some of my more hated television shows). Either way, I was passionate about the shows and the characters, and my passion generated content. I’ve created a number of videos for the L Word, some for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Desperate Housewives and hope to create more in the future for other shows like maybe the Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, and or South of Nowhere.
So imagine my surprise, when skipping about clips for the movie Imagine You & Me on YouTube, I came across this gem. It’s a brilliant take on the Imagine You & Me trailer, with scenes from South of Nowhere. It’s very well done. Yeah! Yeah, yeah! It’s hard to get the lips to fully line up with the words for this type of thing. But the author, selected the clips very well, and it looks like someone dubbed South of Nowhere into British English. Give it a view. It’s great fun. I had to add it to my favorites list.
Backstory: For a good teen drama, this year I was into the N’s South of Nowhere. I admit, I totally watched it for Spashley (Spencer/Ashley) relationship drama. Two teenage girls falling in love with each other in Los Angeles. But even though that was my primary reason, I have to say, the makers of Degrassi and Degrassi Next Generation do know how to do teen dramas. And they actually have people who are almost teens play the characters.
