Commentary/Review
Ok, Subterranean was pretty much a throw-away episode. The basic plot was, a runaway, illegal immigrant escapes from the McNally farm seeks Clark’s help. He than uncovers a sinister secret in the farmer’s cornfield which has been hidden during the last meteor shower. Yeah, yeah, whatever. Despite the fact that, I believe, it was a deliciously evil idea to put Lana and Lex together, if I had to suffer through them for one more minute, I was ready to write Smallville off. But just when I thought, this season has come to this—an episode so boring that I could read, and listen to music through it—and not miss any key point; they show the preview for the next few episodes, airing in January 2007.
Wow. They look like they rock. The Justice League as teeners (he, he). Take a look at the preview clip from YouTube, and see if that doesn’t get you excited. Ha! “Let’s go save the world!”
