First off, I love the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report. They're shows that actually make the news watch-able for me. But Samantha Bee's take on the relationship between news and attractiveness, oddly gave me the urge to go watch some 24-hour news station; and mentally cemented my preference for the girl next door/girl you can take home to mama look.
I'll take YouTube embeds over Comedy Central's any day, but CC's was the only embed available for now. Go ahead take a look.
Ms. Bee is funny as hell. Her distinction between CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News is laugh out loud. But more importantly, she's reminded me, 'I really should keep up with what's going on in the world'. Besides, I think Jill Dougherty is very cute—those big eyes, that short, almost spiky hair. I doubt if she gets much screen time against Soledad O'Brien or Jennifer Eccleston.

That’s a news show? Well, I guess Samantha Bee is right about Fox News after all, ”...those femme, dom, bitches will report on anything.” LOL! Obviously, I was missing something with the ‘shoes, shoes, shoes’ segment, but maybe I wasn’t. It is Fox.
There are a lot of hotty anchors these days. But I especially appreciated the lighting on CNN. It made the anchors all look like they were angelic, or as ego-driven as Barbara Streisand in The Prince of Tides, where they had her aglow in practically ever scene.

To get the shoes reference you have to see the music vid for it (by Liam the drag queen). It’s on youtube...just do a search for “shoes”.
